This is a post to provide clients, new visitors, vendors, and partners insight as to why Victoreus LLC is now non-operational.
I have taken an offer for employment at a small mortgage lender in Southern California. While at my previous company, I was allowed to run my practice while working full-time in the Investor Reporting department. Recently, I have graduated with my MS of Accountancy in December, 2021. Within 3 months I had received an offer of employment to work as an IT Reporting Analyst for the IT Department of the lender I now work for.
The opportunity presented was something I had been looking for, for quite some time. My skills were not being used to their maximum at Carrington Mortgage, and there was no advancement opportunity after 4 years of working there. The pay was considerably more than running my practice combined with my full-time position income.
The main reason for closing down was due to a policy the new employer has about holding second jobs. I cannot run a practice while working full-time for them, according to policy. Not only that, it is a lot of work dealing with clients, earning money driving for Uber to pay my vendor expenses, and filing tax documents for clients at the same time of working full-time. The other reason is that my position is in-office, and it would make it very difficult to battle conflicting interests and responsibilities. It actually feels kind of nice not having to do so much with my limited time and have no time to actually spend for myself.
Victoreus LLC will still keep it’s entity filing and pay yearly taxes and expenses for keeping the website operational. However, I no longer will be serving clients in any capacity for whatever reason. I plan on transitioning the website into a fully functioning Blog.
I plan on trying to learn as much as possible in IT and staying in the same function since I have a lot of experience working with databases, tables, and servers in various positions for the business unit. Along with being a part of many different system and project implementations in my years. The blog posts will feature content related to Data Analytics and IT. And I will try to make the content fun and educational. There may be videos along with the posts and other content from my Victoreus LLC YouTube channel.
I hope and wish everyone who made Victoreus LLC a fun, friendly, and personally responsible firm to each of my clients possible, the best and wish them well. It was a very good experience, and I have learned more about Taxes and running a business than any other Big Four Partner or staff member. I thank you very much and hope to hear from you time to time.
